We Love Horses

Our family loves horse. Ever since I was born,my grandparents have many horses and even my parents. So basically I grow up riding in a horse. We rode in our when we go to the farm. We love our horses, they are part of our family. I can see how my grandpa treated them with care. When he was still alive he used to bring them in horse shows where he can he can show them off. Personally, horses are my best pets.They are hard working and fun. In the pictures, showed my eldest daughter riding my friend's horse. She was only four there  but she's already showing her passion for horses. So if in the future she wants to be an equestrian, I will support her all the way. I will just have to invest money on buying good quality equestrian helmets for her safety. For me, I'm planning to buy a nice cowgirl boots. My husband has a lot of cowbooy boots and he wants me to buy one for me since I don't have any.

Windy Monday

Oh my,it's a windy Monday again.I was even congested this morning and it's just gonna worse. Our garbage can outside is blown by the wind already. I will just pick it up when I dropped my son to school. It's windy when it's windy because the wind is also chilly. No wonder, a lot of people are sick lately. But  what we can we do, we can't have the best weather all the time especially we're living by the North coast. We can just only whine, too bad we can't add cheese on it. Good Neighbors Good Food

We are lucky for having very good neighbors. I think it's because we have many things in common.We are about the same age. Our kids are about the same age  also. We love to shop and we love to cook.My neighbors are Latinas.I'm an Asian. I love Mexican foods. They love Filipino foods. So everytime we cook our favorites we share to one another. Last week they gave us this very delicious Mexican Pozole in a pot. It was very good that even if it's spicy my kids love it. They love my eggrolls too and some of my Filipino cooking. Everytime we gained weight we jokingly blamed each other's good food. Now we're looking for the best fat burner so that we will fit on the dresses that we bought in one of the stores here who just had a 70% off sale. We shop till we drop and we need to lose weight to enjoy what we shop.

Backed Up

I knew there's a solution to this but let me whine for just a minute. I'm so bummed because yesterday I'm doing a back-up in my husband's computer whole day and just as I'm about to finish it, it was cancelled, my husband might have accidentally close it. I was so disappointed. I redo it but I run out of Cds. I knew this would be fixed if I have a high memory usb drivers. I have  a 8 GB one but it wasn't enough. So I was thinking of buying a USB driver with 500GB memory, but where can I get that? or maybe I will just customized the backup. Oh well, I'll do this when I'm not that stressed anymore.

Dark Color Jeans And Skinny Belt

In Saks Point of View I read a very essential fashion tip that I can apply in my style of fashion. I learned that a skinny belt, rather than a wide belt, makes our waist look smaller. Good thing that I have many skinny belt and just quite a few wide belts that I haven't barely used. And another one also is wearing dark jeans or pants because it makes our legs look longer . Diet pills that work fast are often used by many women when they don't have enough time to lose  excess weight. But for me, hiding my flaws by wearing the right wardrobe that can make look slimmer or taller is oftentimes my first option.

Super Sleepy

It's pat 10 in the evening already and I'm already sleepy. My neck is hurting now but I have a lot of things to do such as scheduling online payments, updating my blog, facebooking and watching my favorite shows like NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, The Goo wife etc. And plus my "window" shopping. Honestly I spend more than an hour shopping in saks.com. I didn't buy anything. I'm just having so much fun looking at the nice dresses and purses. I really have to go to sleep soon because I have to wake up early tomorrow for my grocery shopping and I plan on going to Fred Meyer for their president's day sale.

Getting Rid of Belly Fat

I'm so bummed because I missed doing my power shape-ups exercise for two days now. I'm super busy that I don't have time to do my physical fitness routine. I even missed doing my sit-ups this afternoon. Many of friends are doing this now. This is the solution of my long search on how to lose belly fat. I do a lot of walking everyday but it doesn't get rid of my belly that I gained from my pregnancy. My friends do 20 sit-ups in the morning and 20 in the afternoon. I know somebody who do 100 sit-ups everyday. She have some nice abs. That's my goal but I just missed it. I will definitely do my exercise tomorrow especially the sit-ups.

Kirby Vacuum and Carpet Shampoo System

My husband bought a new Kirby Vacuum and Carpet Shampoo System today. At first I was hesitant because it's expensive for a vacuum. It's close to $2000 for the whole set but we got a $200 back for the trade-in of our old vacuum.When the salesman demonstrate how to use, we are impressed, especially my husband. Honestly, it's a very good vacuum. We shampooed our carpet, in the living room. It looks new again. At the end of the day, I think for the price it's all worth it. I think it's a good idea buying this kind of vacuum. It's a pretty good investment.

Sleep Deprivation

It's only 11 in the morning but I am already sleepy. I would love to go to sleep but I can't because I have four kids to keep an eye to. I don't want to go to sleep because my 19 months old baby is quite an adventurous one already. She will climb to everything and taste everything. I'm trying to go to sleep with her but my son is so noisy who is also an adventurous one. I've been sleepless lately that I need an eye cream for dark circles for my eyes. I have dark circles due to my lack of sleep plus I suffered from my asthma for more than two months which made my eyes to be itchy and watery. I keep rubbing my eyes which make it worse. I'm just glad it's weekend tomorrow, I don't need to wake up early.

Turning My Blog Into A Book

I have three blog that I maintained for three years now. The first one is this one. It used to be called Pampered then I changed it into Maria's Point Of View. With this blog I have more than 500 posts. This blog tackles about everything that I faced in life, the lessons I learned from fashion to character. My second blog is entitled Happyheart. It's one of my favorite and has higher page rank compared to my two blog. I love its design because it's made by my friend Carlota from Dashing Smiles. Happyheart tackles more on my shopping escapades. It's more on product reviews. I have more than 700 posts there already too. My newer blog is called Purelove. It's more on my motherhood journey where I blogged about kids and how I learned as a mother and how motherhood changed me into a better person. I have more than 500 posts there too. As I go through my older posts, it kinda put a smile in my face.That's why I really love to make my blog into a book. By using Velo Bind book binding machine, I can have a professional finish book. I'm really excited about this. I want to make several copies for my family, my children and my siblings. I think they will love this idea too.

Jealousy Motivation

I'm proud of myself today because I finished another 10 sit-ups. That's the best that I can do. I can't barely make it to ten. But at least I started doing this already. I'm so jealous with my friends who are posting pictures in facebook who also have babies but were able to maintained a toned  body. They just sit-ups everyday. That's why I'm doing it now. I have to keep on doing this so that I don't have to worry about wearing girdle everyday. I'm excited and determined.

I got a gift card from Victoria Secret last month so I used it to buy this cute strapless smocked  dress and a Pink laptop case. The laptop case is not so my favorite but I'm sure my sister will love this. The smocked dress is only $14.99 while the case is $16.99. For these two I only paid $22 plus I will get another $10 gift card. When it comes to shopping, I know how to get the best deal.

Today's Wishlist

My wish list for today is this  CANON EOS REBEL T2I D-SLR CAMERA. Actually, I've been wishing for this for a long time since I love to take pictures. I took pictures of my kids almost everyday. You can really tell the difference between pictures taken by canon slr cameras compared to regular digital cameras. It has better quality. The pictures look like taken by a professional photographer. This Canon Eos Reel Camera is lightweight and easy to use. It allows you to capture up to 3.7 frames per second. That's why I love this because those special moments made by my kids need to be capture quickly or else I'll miss it. So this is my wish list for the day but since I already got a new diamond ring for Valentine's Day, then this is ideal for the upcoming mother's day.

Hoarder

 I bought a new Rampage over sized handbag from my friend for only $15. It's a good deal. I was wondering how come she's selling many purses from her collection at very low prices. I found out that she's a shopaholic and she shops a lot for purses, shoes and clothes. Some people called her a hoarder because she just stack these stuffs in her house without using it. She saves stuffs for future use. I see myself with her as a hoarder because I tend to do that also. But we are far different from those insane hoarder who gathers unnecessary stuffs and stack it their house , making their house unlivable anymore. Now that is crazy. My friend's house is clean and organize, so her being a hoarder, I would rather call her a saver.

First Haircut

My eldest daughter had her hair appointment today at Beauty Secrets Salon. She have such a beautiful natural curly long hair that's why I kinda hesitate to agree with her but she wants to have her hair done because her niece had her cut too. I let her decide how she wants her hair cut and when its done I found out  that it's really short. I'm kinda disappointed and so was she. She just realized how short it was that's why she's kinda sad. I just hope that will grow fast.Poor baby.

I'm in the "hoodie obsession mood" lately So if there's a good deal with my favorite brand, I buy it. So today I got myself a new hoodie from Hollister Company. The hoodie I got for only $20 and the shirt is just about $6. This is gonna be my first stuffs from Hollister. So we'll see if I like once I got it from the mail. Can't wait.
