Change Of Plan

I thought that today is a very busy day. Yesterday, I got two invitations for a kid's party. But I already planned on spending this day with my friend with her garage sale. I was worried because I might be called to work also. I work part time and they called me whenever they're busy. But this morning, I got a message in my facebook wall that the garage sale is cancelled so that helps a lot. Even if I will be called to work in an hour I can still bring my kids to the party. I just hope that the sun will come out today so that the kids can play outside also.

Mister And Miss Independent

My three year old son  and my 21 months baby girl are now wanting to do things on their own. They want to climb the stairs on their own, eat by themselves, and put their own clothes. I have to put a sturdy step stool in their bathroom because my youngest wants to brush her teeth on her own but she's not just tall enough For six years I'm not used to this. I always have a wee one who always wanted my help. They're growing too fast. My five year old is completely independent now. She does her own homework. She knows how to read already. I guess this is the time that me and my husband has been waiting for, more time for each other. We have three toddlers and just about two years apart. Our lives has been very busy. But now since the kids are becoming more responsible and independent, we can have more time for each other. We just have to enjoy watching our kids grow as they explore each stages in life. Always there for them everytime they need us.

Innovation

I am inspired by a friend who lives in Reno, Nevada. She's so determined and hardworking. While her husband work during the day, she also have her own own business to support his salary. She have three young kids. I understand why she can't find herself a regular job. With the high cost of baby sitter, you might as well take care of your kids and it's even healthier for the family. She enrolled in culinary school and now she established a food business. I thought it's too much hard work but if you put your heart in it, everything will just be easy. You can start by having a reliable POS systems which is very important, find the best location and provide the best service to encourage customers to keep coming. In this present economy, the best thing we can do is to be innovative and creative.

Happy Easter!

Let's celebrate, Christ has risen! Jesus is the reason for the season so let's all celebrate this for His victory on the cross. I praised you Lord God for saving us from our sins. May this day reminds us that in times of difficulties, You are there to pick us up. May we stay THISCLOSE to You oh Lord. Thank you for loving us.

Poor Lindsay

Lindsay was sentenced for violating her probation last Friday. Luckily, she was bailed out after five hours in custody. She's accused of stealing a necklace and caught drunk driving. In my own opinion this poor girl is completely misguided. It's been so long already that she's been in and out of trouble. Maybe it's about time that she needs to stay in malibu rehab. They can offer better programs for here. Have her stay there longer than it should be. She needs help. I can't imagine that cute little girl that I love to watch in Disney Channel was facing felony grand theft. She's a troubled kid. She needs support from her family and friends. Now that she remain free on bond, she still have to do her 480 hours of community service which includes 360 hours at Los Angeles women's center and 120 hours at a LA County morgue. I hope this will teach her a lesson instead of being more rebellious.

Spring Vacation Is Almost Over

It's been a week since the kids' Spring vacation. They're going back to school on Monday. Even though things didn't happened as I have planned but I'm pretty my kids had a wonderful vacation. I supposedly  bring them out of town but for some reason, we weren't able to go. But I promised that as soon as we can, we will bring them wherever they want to. I'm thankful because we have a pretty much decent weather this week, we were able to do a lot of activities. We were able to ride our bikes, play tennis and badminton and participate in the activities at Fred Meyer. My kids enjoyed their vacation. Tomorrow, we're going to an Easter party that will be held at my friend's house. They can do their egg hunting there. I am mostly thankful because we were able to spend a lot of time together as a family.

Today's Wishlist/ Baby Shower Gift

This is the ergo baby carrier that I love and plan to give to my friend who's giving birth in four months. I'm so excited for her because she's having a girl.I'm giving her my daughter's baby clothes and this one. There are so many kids of baby carrier, but my kids. when they were still infants don't like them until I found this ergo carrier. This one don't hurt your back. Instead it helps eliminate compression of the spine. It takes the baby's weight and spreads it to your hips and shoulder, which prevents fatigue. As a mother of three kids, I can honestly say that this will be the perfect gift to soon to be parents and those who are having their second, third, fourth and more babies.

Sharing Is The Best Thing

Finally, I am feeling better now. After those two parties for my husband's retirement, I was exhausted that I feel like I have a severe case of hangover. I was cooking for the whole week. I was shopping for ingredients in different stores and that made my feet tired. Then the marinating and chopping which took a lot of time. But it's all worth it because everybody loved my foods. During the second party, I was surprised because the wife of the president of the Filipino-American Association here in Crescent City, my Ate Rowena gave me a Coach purse. I was so happy because it is also a big purse that my laptop would fit in there. I'm so thrilled and happy. Then before the party ended, some of my friends "tour" in our simple abode. They like my house. And they like my necklace display. It's actually really cute.A friend of mine gave it to me. The get to look at my jewelry and they get to bring some. I love to share. And I'm blessed because my friends love to share too. :-)

Blue Bloods

For some reason, I've been addicted to watch the Blood Bloods show at CBS. It is a drama story about multi-generational family of cops dedicated to put the bad people to jail. This show's location is in New York City. I love the story in every episode because it always have a happy ending. I am a happy ending kind of person. Besides, in this show they portray the importance of family values and that's what I like most.
