First Communion

In our religion, Roman Catholic, we have seven sacraments that we observed and we also celebrate First Communion. That's the time when the child do her first Sacrament of Penance and her First Communion. Last Saturday was my friend's daughter first Communion. She have a big party help at St. Paul's hall. She have a lot of visitors including her families that came all the way from Sacramento. It was fun even though my family is the only non- Mexican among the guests. It was pretty cool because they are kind and accomodating. They love to wear cowboy hats and hoyo de monterrey. Me and my husband wore cowboy boots instead of wearing hats. It was a fun celebration.

4G Shopping

Last night me and my husband are talking about upgrading our phones. I still like mine but we are already qualified to get an upgrade for a lesser price if not for free. So as soon as I woke up this morning, I immediately shop around for smartphones. And there's a lot. I'm looking towards getting a 4G smartphones but before I buy I still have to read all the reviews. My neck is hurting already so I decided to shop for xbox 360 controller since my son's birthday is coming already and I plan on buying an Xbox Kinnect for him. It's always like this. Everytime I plan on buying something for me, I end up buying for the kids. I think that's part of being a parent.

Hospitality

If I have to recall carefully I haven't met a rude hostess until recently. There's this person who invited us for a birthday for her mom. Only few were invited as they want to invite close friends. Only two guests who didn't show up. The other one didn't return the call and the other one had a previous engagement already. So when all the guest arrived, the hostess didn't even entertain us like she's suppose to do. We were left in the kitchen, wondering where she's at. She's in the front room on her computer. This is not the first time she did this to us. The first time was, she's already mopping the floor while the guests were still  there. I realized that she's rude and she don't have good manners. Why putting up a party when you can't be hospitable? Quite a few people promised not to go to her party anymore and so did I.

Stay At Home Dad

Now that I have a part time job which is four hours in one day, it makes my retired husband a stay at home dad. Although he called himself as Mister Mom. At first, I thought he won't be able to last a week being at home following the kids' mess. But I was wrong. When I got home, the house is clean and the kids are neatly dress. He's doing a good job better than I do. That's why I decided to bring them treats when I got home from work. I stop by at my favorite store buying goodies for the children and something for my husband. I like to shop there because I don't have to lift up heavy grocery items at the counter since their using an excellent  barcode scanner. It helped a lot because in other stores you have to lift the sack of rice in the counter or even the heavy cases of soda. Other supermarkets should use  better scanners because it makes the job efficient and fast.

Product Reveiws

I have been online shopping a lot more than I used to. Believe it or not, I got better deals sometimes as compared to shopping in store especially if I bring kids because instead of making the most of my money I end up buying way over my budget because there are stuffs that I can't resist to buy plus the kids want something for themselves too. My kids don't throw a fit when they can't get what they want but I just can't stand the look in their eyes. I gotta have to buy it for them. Online shopping is way better now because the buyers are sharing their reveiws of the products they bought. And it helps a lot. You can read helpful reviews such as electronics, shoes, clothing and even creatine reviews. It is very essential to read the reviews first before buying so that you know the pros and cons about the product.

Facebook: Hiding And Deleting Posts

Facebook is fun. It's a cool way of keeping updated with friends. I have a pretty close to five hundred friends in facebook. They're my families, classmates, aacquaintances and friends of friends. I just don't feel like denying friendship requests. I don't have problems with all of them but there are few who posting something that are offensive to other people. I just find out that instead  of deleting these people I can just hide all their posts, then I won't be able to read them. I wish I knew this long time ago. I just want everything positive thoughts in my facebook wall. Nobody needs any hateful posts.

Christmas Is Coming Too Soon

Last Christmas I told myself that I'm gonna start buying gifts and Christmas cards as early as June. Then I realized it's June already. How time flies so fast. It's amazing. I go through the stuffs to be given as presents, I don't have enough yet especially that I'm going home to the Philippines this year. I need to stock up on perfumes, clothes, purses, and shoes. My family and friends love to receive anything that are made in U.S.A as we all know we always have the best quality products here. So this month, there are many annual sale, I took advantage of it. I don't want to do the last minute shopping anymore. Shopping in advance saves you time and a lot of money.
