Friday Treat

Every Friday is our Pizza day. That means I don't have to worry about cooking dinner. It's like a treat for all of us  a long week of work. It's pretty cool because it became a family tradition already. But I need to search about appetite control reviews because when I weight myself today, I gained five pounds in one week. I think it's ridiculous.  I think it's because I went back to eating so much rice again. I really don't last a day without eating rice. That's why I gained weight quickly. So I want to learn more about appetite suppressant because I don't like my weight now, I miss wearing my nice blouses. I have been wearing dolman clothes all the time so I can hide my hidden fats. But I can't be wearing the same type of clothing all the time. So I guess taking an appetite suppressant wil help a lot.

Rest in Peace Caloy

I was surprised when I found out that Charles "Caloy", the vice president of the Filipino-American Association here in our place died! It has been a week since I found out about it. I don't know him that well but every time we met him and his wife in the store they smile and talk to us. They are a nice couple. The one thing that I remember most about Caloy is that he Today is his memorial but I didn't go because I'm working. Only two of my very close friends went. I just hope and pray that his wife will stay strong because I know that they are really close. May god give her the strength this time of her loss.

Just Married And Moving

One of my very good friend just got married last Saturday in Las Vegas. It was an overwhelming for all of us because we weren't there. Most of us her friends didn't get the chance to join her in Las Vegas because it's school day already, and all our kids have activities on weekends. Good thing she understand. The wedding reception will be here in town so all of us can join. Her wedding make us all teary eyed because we were able to watch it live via online streaming. She's crying the whole ceremony. Their next plan is to move to a new house so I'm preparing the best address plaque for the housewarming. I just think it's unique and not all the time people give it on a housewarming. I'm sure she will be surprised.

Gold Medal-Winning Equestrienne

As my kids are growing up, I can see their passion of horses. Everytime they saw ponies or horses, they got all excited. They love to play with our friends' horses. They love to ride on their back. But who who doesn't love horses. They are so loyal, protective and dependable.  I want my kids to be like Mikee Cojuangco- Jaworski, she's a Filipina equestrienne and won many medals already in many competition. I can bring my kids in our farm in the Philippines where we know many people who own horses. I got to buy them  horse riding helmets for protection because we can never tell. But as long as the horses are treated and trained right there should be no reason that they will be harmful.

Resisting The Temptation

It's crazy, I have lots of coupons and other discounts fromn my favorite brand of clothing especially for the kids. But when I look at my kids' closet, they have more than enough and some of still has tags on it. Although the deals are super good, I have to pass on it because the Thanksgiving sale is coming and that's what I'm preparing for as there are so many electronics that can really be cheap that day. I used to be an impulsive buyer but as the kids are growing up, they have so many activities already and the household expenses multiply so I say No! to the impluse shopping.  I will wait and I can wait!

Next Month's Celebrant

From the month of June until October, I have birthday celebration each month. June is my birthday month, then July my son and my baby girl, August, my sister, September, my daughter and father and next month is my eldest kid's birthday. And buying gifts for them is a struggle because I have to be fair for everybody and I have to make sure that they got what they wanted.But they have to realize that birthdays is not all about gifts, it's about being thankful that you have a wonderful life and being healthy. But being a mom, it's hard not to buy them gifts but I'm just glad that Bianca just want an electronic book for her birthday instead of dolls. At least this one, it will help her in reading because it's educational.

Sadle Shoes

Last Saturday I bought a shoes that looks like this. And of course way much cheaper than this. This one is a Beatrix Ong lace up saddle shoes from Saks Fifth Avenue. This one costs $545. For the quality and style, it's worth it. But I'm just thrilled that I got one, although different brand but at least the same style.

Mud Flaps

My husband is a gear head. Like any men, their ride is like their second wife. My husband is like that. He loves his truck. He cleaned it all the time. If there's a single dent or scratch on his truck, he will have it fixed right away. In fairness his truck rocks. It's modified. He turned it into as old school style, from the size of the bed, the clutch, the tires and rims. His tires are awesome.And oh his lights are so cool too. He called it angel eyes. Every month he spent something for his truck. So one day, while driving in Highway 101, he got pull-overed by CHP police because his tires are so big and he was required to put mudflaps on it. Mud Flaps are Rock Tamers. Actually it helps a lot to prevent rocks from hitting your car or other people's car. He was so furious about because he assumed that it will ruined the look of his truck.
Good thing mudflaps.com has a removable mud flap system which can be attached easily to any vehicle which is cool. I think it is necessary because it can provide protection to your truck. So my husband got one. I think he got a road sport mud flaps because when he got it installed on his truck, it looks so sleek and he doesn't bother taking it off anymore. Now he don't have to worry about being pull-overed again. There are actually different kids of mudflaps. It came in different shapes, styles and color. You can have it customized to match with your ride.

Shamsey Supsup

Congratulations to the Miss Universe 3rd up 2011, Miss Philippines, Shamsey Supsup.She came from General Santos, Philippines, the same place where Manny Pacquaio also came from. I'm sure the whole city of Gensan and the whole Philippines are so proud of her. I am so proud of her. Thank you for making us all proud. I am proud to be a Filipino.

Being Here With Them

There’s nothing you could say to me to make me think that being a stay at home mom isn’t the hardest thing in the world. I’ve got twin boys and a three year old girl and I don’t know a single person including my husband who’s as tired as I am at the end of the day! Between nap times and laundry and calling TOTALALARMSYSTEMS.com and making lunch for everyone my days get away from me really fast although I love being able to be here all the time for the little ones. I feel like they’re learning so much on a daily basis and that they’re really getting to bond with me on a different level than before. I certainly don’t miss work and the 8-5 grind and the pressures that came with that although I hate that sometimes my husband has to work late to afford us this opportunity. I just feel like if you’re going to have kids it’s your responsibility to raise them so I don’t want to send them to a daycare!

Wide Awake

I'm wide awake since midnight. My baby sleep with us and she's a little bit fussy. It happened when she's overtired. They were playing and running around just before they sleep. Good thing she's back to sleep now but I can't go back to sleep. So I'm facebooking and at the same time watch my favorite tv shows and at the same time updating my online journal. I hope to go back to sleep in a couple of minutes.

Teflon And It's Uses

While I was cooking food for dinner, I was debating which pan to use. Aluminum or Teflon. I know that Teflon has been controversial years ago because it has been said that it has harmful effects on our health. Although it has not been confirmed by the Bureau of Drugs and Administration, if I'm not mistaken. But even though it  is still has been widely use in many household because it's perfect for cooking for non stick cooking. Other than its uses for our kitchen, it can be also use as a teflon hose or Teflon tape which is perfect for sealing gas in the field of industry. Whatever its controversies are, it has still many uses which is important for our daily lives.

Car Wash

Now that I'm working part time, I am missing my kids everyday. That's why when it's my day-off, I make sure I make the most out of it. Last Tuesday, I got the day-off,  I took my two girls ( since my son was still sleeping) early morning for a drive because they love it, around town and have them ate breakfast outside. Then we went home when my son was awake. Then after their breakfast, we washed my car. The kids love to help. I think they want to play with the water especially when they get to hold the hose and spray water . They were having so much. My little one was so cute washing the tires. Oh it was such a happy day, spent with my family. After we washed my car, their dad, surprised them with a kids meal from Burger King. We actually just washed the exterior because I will just take care of the interior. I still have to look for logo car floor mats because the ones that I got right now are so old. I'm thinking of something that can resist the mess of my kids which includes spills and etc. Hopefully I could get one today.

Crescent City Deals

How cool! This is the first thing that I can say when I found out about this group on facebook. This is a group of Crescent City locals who promote,trade or sell their stuffs in facebook.People uploaded their items so other people can see it. What I like about this, is that you can just pick it up because it's just around town. So I guess, goodbye Craiglist, which I never tried in the first place. Whoever started this idea should received a lot of credit because this is awesome. Some people posts that they they wanted an item, in just a matter of minute, they get a reply.I'm excited because now, I can sell our piano which we have been planning to sell for a long time.
