Road trip

I want to look into rv financing because I am considering buying an rv. I'm hoping that I will be able to keep my job after the probationary period because I really want to buy and rv. This is gonna be a good investment because it will help us a lot when we go on a family vacation. We are a big family so when we  go somewhere it cost us a lot of money when we check in hotel. Whereas when we have an rv, we are able to just sleep in there and cook our own meal. I'm sure the kids will be excited about this plan and my husband will really be proud of me if I can make this happen.

Since my husband started joining facebook, he is hooked to it already. My friends are adding him to their facebook. There is nothing wrong with it but when he started sharing too much in his wall it kindaupsets me. And then I saw him giving our complete address to someone else it really makes me mad and know he's in a hurry fixing it :-).

Perfect Presents For The Holidays!

Next week is Thanksgiving day and there's the Black Friday. I'm pretty many people will be crowding in the stores that day. That's why I'm debating if I have to go shopping that day or not. I'm not at all excited. Every Black Friday, I overspent in my shopping and end up regretting afterwards. With our financial situation, I cannot splurge to something that is not necessary. But we'll see, it depends on my moods that day. My mind is focused on buying something for my mom and dad because I have a long list of overdue gifts for them. I want to give them the perfect gift. Knowing them, they are both homebody and they love to upgrade their house house all the time so I have a good idea of what to give them. First is for the kitchen,   art deco bathroooom accessories which include this nice lavatory faucet, a robe hook because they don't have one, and a tumbler holder. Second is for their bedroom.I picked an eight piece asian comforter set which is my mom's favorite. The style has maze of leaves. The set includes comforter, one or two shams, one or two European shams and three decorative pillows. I'm thinking of buying two or more comforter sets. Then last but not the least is a swimming pool. This project will depend on how much money we had left. My mom and dad won't be upset if they can't have this year. But I will still have them read through the pool sweep reviews so that they will know what kind of pool they want and how they can manage having a pool in the backyard.

I've been browsing in our little group in facebook where the locals here in our town are listing their items for sell or trade. It's getting bigger actually. There's more than 1,000 members already. At first people are posting stuffs that are very cheap but now they're charging their stuffs way too high. Mostly over $20 for clothes especially the maternity clothes. To my surprise, many people are buying it. Probably because we don't have too many selections here. Our local stores and even Walmart, don't carry nice maternity clothes. People don't buy online because they assume that it's expensive. But today I found this site that carry maternity clothes that are very affordable.

Beary Surprise

I just can't resist this one. I think this is one the best idea in surprising someone on her/his birthday. Last week  was my friend's birthday and she's miles and miles away from me. And I don't have enough time to mail her a gift. I'm just glad that we have options to surprise someone on time such as in Sharri's Berries.We can send happy birthday gift baskets  to surprise them. They have so many nice gift baskets to choose from and this gourmet fruit and nut rose is one of my favorites. it's very creative.This has dried peaches, dried jumbo pears, jumbo almonds, jumbo cashews, smoky almonds, dried Apricots, California colossal pistachios, dried ruby red plums. All arranged in a nice wood tray.

Fashion Favorite

When it comes to choosing clothes, I'm more on the safe side. What I mean is that, I stick to what is the ideal one. I don't adventure on matching outfits. It I do rarely, the most is wearing a different color of purse. I have friends in Japan who accessorize their outfit a lot. The combine stripes and polka dots. They wear lace and bold colors. I tried one time but I was so uncomfortable. My kind of outfit are the ones that is featured in Banana Republic. For example:

Let It Snow

It's Winter time! Bring out the snowboard racks and let's head out skiing and enjoy the beauty of snow. It's really cold now here in our place but we never get a snow. That's why most of the people here go to Shasta with their snowboards. Snowboarding is a fun activity for the whole family. I am pretty sure my kids will have a blast once they play in the snow.In other places such as Oklahoma, they get as much as 6 feet of snow. That would be nice if we experience that once a year. Although, many people that it's a hassle. But for me, snow makes the holidays even more meaningful. So let it snow. let it snow!

Overspeeding

I was driving on  my way to work at around 5 in the morning. I'm driving 70mph on 65mph speed limit. In my rear veiw mirror I saw this car running so fast which kinda pissed me off because I felt like he's driving way too fast. So I speed up and he speed up too and finally overtake me. Then I found out it was a CHP car.  I was so relieved when he didn't stop. I thought I will be ticketed. Since then I don't over speed anymore. Instead I just start heading out an hour early. Better safe than sorry.

Indoor

Here in Crescent City, we don't have outdoor pool that is open for the public. Unlike in the Philippines, you can see swimming pools everywhere. Probably some people have their own swimming pool here and they just use an automatic pool cover when it's Winter time because obviously it won't be use for more than three months or so. I'm just glad that we have an indoor pool nearby where the kids can just go swimming anytime they want. But still, most of the time the water is still cold but I'm surprised how the kids ignore the cold water. I guess the longer you soak in the water, your body produces heat and you will be able to tolerate the cold water.

Self Control

I'm so proud of myself because when we went to the mall last Saturday, I barely bought stuffs for myself. I just bought a jewelry organizer because I need it. It's funny because I already picked three shoes but at the last minute I returned them in the shelf. I bought one work shoes tho. Just because I need them. I'm a bit drooping with a Micheal Kors purse because I've been wanting to buy one for awhile now but since it is not necessary I pass on that. I'm happy because I can control myself now with the notorious impulse buying.

Cleanliness

It's getting really cold each day. Now my asthma is back. This sucks because it's very uncomfortable when I'm coughing all the time. I'm just glad that we were able to get new carpets and a good quality vacuum.When it's raining everyday, sometimes the carpet get really messy and people can't shampoo their carpet because it's hard to dry them because there is no sunshine. Since I've been working, I started watching garbage shows such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Jercylicious.I don't know, I guess I'm bored. My friends can't believe I watched those junk shows. But you know, somehow it entertains me when nothing else is better on TV. When I'm at home it's CNN all the time. Maybe just a change of phase. So I watched the fairy tale wedding of Kris Humpries and Kim Kardashian. It was a beautiful wedding but just ended too soon. Sucks! But these celebrities seem so naive already that all they're thinking is money and fame. All I can say is that their life is a mess and I'm glad I'm not them. Life is happier when it's simpler.
